Kindle edition of Microsoft Exchange 2010 Inside Out available now!

I’m delighted that my Microsoft Exchange 2010 (including SP1) Inside Out book published by Microsoft Press is now available in a Kindle edition. The book is also available at Amazon.co.uk and other country-specific sites. Other e-book formats (ePub, MOBI, PDF) for the book are available from the O’Reilly web site.

Of course, those of you who prefer the tactile experience of reading paper copies of books can get your copy of Microsoft Exchange 2010 Inside Out here. I still prefer paper books but I appreciate the utility of keeping electronic copies of reference material in easily-accessible formats on electronic book readers.

And before anyone asks me, I don’t understand Amazon’s pricing strategy. It seems weird that the paper book is priced at $37.79 while the Kindle version costs $46.45! Interestingly, a tweet from Forbes.com Tech News on 15 December revealed that ebooks now represent 84% of units and 76% of revenue for O’Reilly’s online sales from their web site, so I guess people are happy to buy ebooks, even if they come at a premium.

Tony – I got it earlier today for $38.39 at the Kindle store. Looking forward to reading it next week on the various flights.

I just hope that the book attains your expectations. I have never used a Kindle and it will be interesting to see how the book looks and how valuable it is on a Kindle…

Im loving my new Kindle and will be buying your Kindle version of your book. Not having to lunge around a 1000 page plus paperback book is definitely appealing!

Re the pricing scheme from Amazon – I believe eBooks are subject to higher VAT

I’ve just ordered the “paper” version from the French Amazon site but it is sold out … I hope I won’t have to wait for too long 🙂

    Hello Sir,

Any Idea… when the book will be released in India…?

Can’t you order the book from Amazon.com and have it shipped to India?

I can surely… but the Indian Edition would cost less compared to the US edition.. so I am expecting an Indian Edition of your book… which i find very much useful for me.

You mean the Exchange 2013 book? It’s up to O’Reilly to release it and I believe that plans are in place now to get the book out in India soon..
